5 down to 3🌟. I used this app all the time years ago & it was $4 for the whole year and I used to buy it. Last year I went to renew my subscription and it was $10 so I didn't renew. Now, it's $20 and if you don't pay, you get an intrusive ad that's loud and takes up the whole screen. The ads never used to be like this. Before this year, the ads were short, small, and you only had to deal with them if you wanted a sound other than "fan" But now, unless you pay $20 you get an ad for EVERY sound

I have tried several different fan apps, & this is by far the best. It has the right pitch, and most realistic fan sound, imo. I use it to block out loud sounds while I sleep. I can't handle any kind of noise when trying to sleep, except a loud fan in my ear. This works great in muffling out what may be going on around me. It can be used year round without changing the temperature of the room.

It works great, I use it all the time. Definitely helps you get to sleep. However, the sound does not pause or stop when a phone call is answered. So you have to scramble to shut it off while straining to hear your phone call over the sound. Will give 5 stars if this can be fixed. Update: After years of using this app, it still does not detect phone calls. After the most recent update, there is now crackling-noise in the background. This is so distracting at night that I can't use it.
