App won't load and I've wasted 45 minutes trying to figure out what's wrong. Uninstalled it to see if that would help and now it won't even let me log in. Plus, it decided to increase the temperature so the bed is TOO HOT!!!!!! The app also won't open on my husband's phone, so something is clearly wrong with it. What a terrible experience right before trying to go to sleep, which is going to be challenging anyway since it's too hot!

With the AWS outage eight sleep's biggest flaw came to light - the products completely stop working if the app is out! Zero manual controls. It was, I swear, 100 degrees in my bed at 1 am, I spent an hour awake, trying to figure out how to escape the heat and fix the pod. After an hour I just unplugged the whole thing and had an awful 4 remaining hours of sleep. I also had to change my alarms since I couldn't rely on the pod waking me up if the app was out. Unacceptable for the price

I have been a loyal customer since 2019. In the time that I have used their sleep system (2019 to today), I have been through 3 covers. All of them eventually leaked. Two were within warranty, and one outside of it. None of them survived more than 2 years without a problem. Each time, I paid the extra cost for the so-called "upgrade." The third cover made it out of the warranty period without issues, but then failed shortly thereafter. Now, they want to charge a subscription fee on top of it.
